Win win partnership are possible between local authorities and enterprises. In Voralberg, the Baubook is used for building construction and renovation on one side by local authorities to define their objectives and on the other side by enterprises to establish their offers. Workshop outputs

Presentations have proved that win win partnership are possible between local authorities and enterprises. In Voralberg, the Baubook is used for building construction and renovation on one side by local authorities to define their objectives and on the other side by enterprises to establish their offers. Ecopass and energy accompaniment services for municipalities are a very efficient tool toward sustainable buildings and have led local enterprises to a very high technical level in construction work but also in building products production that are exported all other Europe.

In the south sector of Rhône Alps, 100 municipalities are gathered in a territory called Biovallée. To strengthen single houses renovation, Biovallee has defined different types of renovation actions and give subsidies to houses owners for these actions. On the other hand, they have trained local enterprises and help them to build offers concerning these actions.

In Northern Isères, the GPRA and CABEE project are working together to buid a local strategy for sustainable building development with an Innovation Platform called ASTUS and pilot projects. The discussions led to see that it would be great and helpful to set up a CESBA initiative in North Isere in order to join local enterprises and authorities efforts toward sustainable buildings.

To promote sustainable building, a partnership between local authorities and enterprises is a win win possibility. CESBA initiative is a great integrated solution to set up such partnership.
