Title: Expert Training on the Municipal Building Pass KGA (Kommunalgebäudeausweis)

Date: On yearly basis. Last Training in October 2013

Duration:2 day event

Location: Vorarlberg

Target audience: Engineers working in the building monitoring

Number of participants: up to 20


Training topics

Day 1: For new KAG issuers

  • Introduction in the structure of the KGA, organisational issues and tasks of KGA-Issuers
  • Presentation and discussion of the four categories of indicators which show the sustainable and holistic approach of the municipal building pass.

  • Process and planning quality
  • Energy and supply
  • Health and comfort
  • Building materials and construction

Day 2: For new and experienced KGA issuers

  • Introduction about updates of the last KGA version, usage experiences and future perspectives
  • Feedback of all KGA issuers on necessary adaptations
  • Discussion and definition of concrete optimization

Training outputs

Every KGA issuer has to attend the training on a yearly basis to be informed about latest changes and optimizations. The aim of the training is to qualify new and existing experts to be a KGA issuer for energy efficient, resource optimized and high quality buildings and a sustainable built environment.
