Description

The guidelines for decision makers on renewable energies in transport address public players who are responsible for deciding on the technologies chosen to provide transport services within their scope of influence, i.e. primarily public transport fleets. Political decision makers play a model role for citizens and consumers within the field of sustainable, future-oriented and responsible actions, also in the field of mobility. The document leads along a logical chain beginning with the problem of unsustainable transport systems, the challenge regarding the needed technological shift and the task which decision makers and their institutions have to tackle to overcome the challenges of future mobility.
