The Regionalentwicklung Vorarlberg (Regional Development Vorarlberg) is an association of municipalities and expert organizations in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. The association has been implementing EU-funded projects since 2001. Regionalentwicklung Vorarlberg has gathered experience as Lead Partner and partner in Alpine Space projects focusing on a low-carbon economy with NENA, ENERBUILD, CEC5, CABEE, ViSiBLE, CESBA Alps and CaSCo.

The "Regionalentwicklung Vorarlberg" was founded in 2001 in order to develop the natural and cultural heritage of Vorarlberg. The association consists of 64 municipalities of the rural area and of 11 expert organizations. The participating municipalities are spread over 76% of the territory of Vorarlberg and 27% of the population of Vorarlberg lives there. The aim of Regional Development Vorarlberg is to implement projects on strucutral improvement within the rural area of Vorarlberg. There is an intense cooperation with organizations in the agglomeration areas of the Rheintal. [1]
