sample hectares

From CESBA-Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search logo.jpg sample hectares show how changes in ecosystems connected to a development of renewable energies can be made visible.

The sample hectare is a tool that is catchy and good publicity. Therefore it helps to preserve the atmospheric picture of our landscape and find accepted solutions for the expanding renewable energies. One hectar has the size of two soccer fields. If, for example, a wind power plant is put in one hectare of forest, it changes the ecosystem value of this hectare. Using sample hectares, you can compare the value of different uses (e.g. renewable energies pro-duction). The sample hectare is supposed to be applicable in different regions.
