Description

This guide - available in 7 different languages - identifies the main ingredients that are necessary for constructing or refurbishing exemplary buildings as nearly Zero Energy Buildings (nZEBs). In a range of success stories from the different partner countries involved in AIDA, the similarities are observed. The diversity in location, use, design and construction techniques of the exemplary buildings in this guide shows that nZEB design can be put into practice anywhere and become common all over Europe. The guide also presents a review of the national contexts in which the nZEB concept takes place in the participating countries. The described "success story cards" are analysed and recommendations made.
